NYC Taxi Driver returns customer’s iPhone and his good deed goes viral.
Huffington’s Post features Moshin Shezad, a cab driver in NYC who goes out of his way to return a customer’s new iPhone.
What a coincidence, the meaning of the name Mohsin is ‘Helper of others or well wisher of others.’
Huffington Post‘s ‘People of New York’ featured Mohsin Shezad.
The writer left his iPhone in the backseat of Mohsin’s cab on Thursday, Feburary 6th.
When Moshin discovered it, he drove back to where he dropped the writer off, and spent several minutes looking for him.
When the author finally called an hour later, Moshin was all the way across town, but drove thirty minutes to meet him. On top of it all, Moshin refused any reward saying: “Please sir, your fare was enough. Please sir, no.”
This reminds us of the beautiful saying, “If you take something that is not yours, you lose something you love.”
